Connect your phone

The Resound app runs in your phone's browser and can be installed from there, no app store needed. It talks to your PC directly over your network.

Pair with the QR code

1. On the PC, open the panel and click Phone remote (or go to the guided setup's last step).
2. Scan the QR code with your phone's camera and open the link. The Resound app opens and pairs with the PC by itself.
3. That's it: your sound folders appear as tabs.

Your phone must be on the same Wi-Fi as the PC: not mobile data, not a guest network, not a VPN. The PC itself may be on a cable. Each code works once and for 10 minutes; Resound shows a new one after every pairing.

Install the app

Installed, Resound starts from your home screen, opens fullscreen, keeps the screen on, and starts even without internet. Tap Install app at the top of the soundboard, or Settings → Install the app. How it works depends on the browser:

More devices

• Several phones or tablets: pair each one the same way. They share favorites, colors and layouts, which are stored on the PC.
• This PC: the button next to Phone remote on the home page opens the app in a phone-sized window on the PC, for example on a second or touch screen.
• Several PCs: pair with each. In the app, Settings → Switch PC lists them; ✕ forgets one.

Sign out devices

To remove every paired device, click Sign out all devices on the PC's Phone remote page. Each device has to scan a code again.
