In-game overlay
Play your favorites without leaving the game: one key slides a bar of your favorite sounds in at the edge of the screen. You can try it on the Resound website.
Turn it on
- Settings → In-game overlay → Set key, and press a key or a combination, for example Alt + F1. Keyboard keys only.
- Choose the Screen edge: Left (default) or Right.
- Click Show the overlay to try it right there, without a game.
The bar shows your favorites, in the order of the phone's Favorites tab. No favorites yet? It tells you how to add some.
Use it in a game

The highlight stays where you left it, so you can pick a sound ahead of time and later play it with two presses.
Your game keeps the focus all along. While the bar shows, only your key, Esc and the mouse wheel are kept from the game; everything else, mouse clicks included, goes through.
Limits
- The overlay shows on the main screen, over games in windowed, borderless and most fullscreen modes. A game in true “exclusive” fullscreen covers it: switch the game to borderless or windowed.
- Games running as administrator don't let Resound see your keys. See Keys don't work in a game.
- To turn the overlay off, click Turn off on its page.
