Import sounds from websites

Drag a sound from a sound button website onto one of your folders in the panel, and Resound downloads it there. No account needed.

From Myinstants or Sound Buttons World

  1. On the PC, open Settings โ†’ Sound library, or click Import buttons on the home page. You need at least one sound folder.
  2. Click Myinstants or Sound Buttons World. The site opens in your browser; the panel stays open beside it.
  3. Find a sound and drag its name onto a folder in the panel. On Myinstants, the small link icon under a button works too.
  4. Resound downloads the sound and opens a card under the folder:
    • the name, taken from the website and selected, so you can type a new one;
    • Preview plays it to you only;
    • Save (or Enter) keeps the name you typed;
    • Discard deletes the downloaded file.

The sound is on your phone right away. If you press Esc or start the next import, it keeps the website's name.

Other websites and files

You can also drop:

  • a link to a sound file (MP3, WAV, FLAC or OGG) from any website, or a link to a page with exactly one sound;
  • sound files from Explorer or your browser's download list: they are copied into the folder, the originals stay where they are.

A folder dropped anywhere else on the page becomes a new library folder.

Already in your library?

Resound checks every new sound against your library. If you have it already, the card says where. You can still keep it, or discard it.
